Conversations
A conversation is a chat with the Streya agent about your data. It’s where analysis happens: you ask a question in plain language, the agent runs the analysis against your warehouse and answers with a visual and a plain-language explanation of what it found. Then you keep going.
Conversations are for asking and analyzing — ad-hoc questions, follow-ups, digging into a “why”. When you want to track something over time instead, that’s a dashboard.
The loop
Section titled “The loop”Every turn follows the same shape:
- You ask. “Which accounts are declining this quarter?”
- The agent plans and queries. It picks the right view, writes the query, and runs it against your warehouse.
- It answers with a visual — a card, chart, or table — and a short explanation of what the numbers say.
You don’t operate any controls between these steps. You describe what you want; the agent does the rest.
Follow-ups keep the context
Section titled “Follow-ups keep the context”A conversation remembers what came before, so you refine by talking, not by starting over. Each question builds on the last:
How did sales evolve over the last 12 months?
…(a chart)…
Break that down by product category.
…(the same period, now split)…
Which category is driving the decline since March?
The agent reuses the data and definitions it already has in play, so follow-ups are fast and stay consistent with the answer above them.
Export and share
Section titled “Export and share”Any visual in a conversation can leave it:
- Copy as image — copy a chart or card as a PNG, ready to paste into slides, docs, or chat.
- Download CSV — export the data behind any answer.
